Welcome to Lifehouse: Behind the Video Blogs

This is a fan comic about the band Lifehouse. Lifehouse often posts videos on their MySpace blog about their lives. Some of the videos are funny, and some are completely random. This comic strip is an attempt to explain what goes on behind the scenes of their videos, and to extrapolate on the semi-fictional reality that Lifehouse portrays in them. Some of the comics refer to certain videos, and some are just about Lifehouse in general. This is a fictional comic based on real people, and is not affiliated with Lifehouse. If you don't usually watch Lifehouse's vlogs, be sure to check the reference comments below before reading the comics. New comics are usually posted on Mondays.

If you want to keep track of new comics, add the RSS feed, but you'll still have to check this page for news updates. Click here to watch Lifehouse's video blogs. For more about this comic's background and other fan art, visit the additional pages on this site, and please sign the guestbook. Affiliates are at the bottom of the page. Thanks for stopping by. -Sylvia

"Fan of the Month" Interview

I was awarded "fan of the month" at Support Lifehouse Blog, which is currently named World of Lifehouse, I believe. Mark asked me some questions about me and the comics that you might be interested to know about. You can find the interview here.

Some More Recognition

I just thought I'd post an exciting plug from Lifehouse: My Halloween banner appeared on their official MySpace page along with a link to this site! And it's still there, as far as I know. This is currently the only Lifehouse fan site that is linked (with a banner, no less) from Lifehouse's own MySpace page. Woohoo!

My only question is, why are they still on vlog strike and promoting this comic at the same time? Make up your mind, Lifehouse!

More About Guest Comics

I'm still looking for guest comics, because the amount that I've received so far is no more than one. If you have any inclination to make a Lifehouse comic, please do. It doesn't have to be the same style as mine - it can be a photo comic, a stick-figure comic, or anything else that qualifies as a comic. Send your comic to sylvia.lh.bvb@gmail.com with your name and website (if you have one) and I will post it on the comic page in the following weeks.

One Step Closer

This comic site is now one step closer to its goal. (To know what the goal is, read the About page) This site is now listed on the official Lifehouse website's links page! Woohoo! Thank you, Lifehouse.

In other news, this comic may be going monthly on October 12th, but I'm not sure yet. It depends on whether I get any Lifehouse fan guest strips, which you should all make and send to sylvia.lh.bvb@gmail.com.

Updates Slowing Down / Guest Comics

I figured I should post this in advance so that you have some time to freak out about this before it happens, but in a few weeks I'm going to stop posting these comics weekly, and start posting on the first of every month. For now I'll still be posting once a week every Monday.

If you want to help ensure that there will continue to be updates, you can not just submit ideas, but write scripts for the comic. Sometimes I get an idea but I don't know what to do with it. You can write the dialog and panel breakup for a 3-5 panel comic, send it to me, and I will draw it and give you script credit. If you have a website, I will link to it in the notes. E-mail your scripts to sylvia.lh.bvb@gmail.com. If you want you can even draw your own guest strip, and I'll post it. Send me your script or comic, the name ascribe it to, and your website if you have one.
